BrimXchange is in prelaunch review. Listings can be saved, but checkout and payouts are not open.
1. The marketplace
BrimXchange facilitates resale of Goorin Bros. hats between sellers and buyers. Sellers ship directly to buyers. BrimXchange is independent of Goorin Bros. and does not physically inspect or authenticate hats.
2. Seller fees and proceeds
Listing a hat is free. BrimXchange deducts a seller commission of 10% of the hat’s sale price. The commission does not apply to shipping charges or tax.
The listing form shows net hat proceeds after applicable seller fees before the seller submits the listing. Buyers pay the selected carrier rate at checkout. Shipping collected pays for a prepaid label through BrimXchange; it is not added to seller proceeds. Taxes collected are not seller proceeds. BrimXchange pays payment-processing fees from its commission.
For a $100 hat sale, the seller commission is $10.00 and net hat proceeds are $90.00.
Optional seller offer promotion
Sellers may opt in to promotion for each offer. The additional promotion fee is 3% of the hat’s sale price, excluding shipping and tax, on every completed sale of that offer while enrolled. It is additional to the standard seller commission. There is no upfront fee and no charge for views, clicks or an unsold offer. A completed sale means seller payment has been released under the delivery and dispute rules below. Cancelled or fully refunded sales incur no promotion fee; a later full refund reverses that fee.
Up to three active seller offers appear in the showcase, subject to the shopper’s filters. Enrolled offers get priority, then newer offers are shown first. Regular offers may fill remaining spaces. Paid placements are labeled “Promoted.” Placement, traffic and a sale are not guaranteed. A seller offer is not an endorsement or authentication by BrimXchange or Goorin Bros.
Promotion is off by default. Sellers can start or stop it from My collection while an offer is active. The promotion choice and fee are fixed when a buyer reserves the offer for checkout. Stopping promotion does not change an existing order. The fee is rounded to the nearest cent and deducted from proceeds when payment is released.
For a promoted $100 hat, the promotion fee is $3 and net hat proceeds after both fees are $87.00.
3. Listing requirements
Sellers must own the genuine hat offered and accurately identify its model, color, size and condition. Photos must show the actual item. NWT means unworn with original tags attached. Used — Like new means no noticeable wear, stains, odors or damage. Used — Good allows disclosed visible wear on a clean, wearable hat. Counterfeits and misleading listings are prohibited.
A custom listing may be submitted when no catalog match exists. Seller submissions do not establish a verified historical release or authenticate an item.
4. Shipping and payment release
Sellers enter their ship-from / return address and the packed box dimensions and weight. Buyers enter their delivery address and select an available USPS, UPS or FedEx service. After payment, the seller gets a prepaid label from My collection, prints it and hands the package to that carrier. Tracking is attached to the order automatically. The review window begins after carrier-confirmed delivery with a verified destination. The buyer may accept the received hat to request earlier payment release. Otherwise, release is scheduled seven full days after verified delivery if no dispute is open.
Carrier availability and prices depend on the addresses, package and connected carrier accounts. A rate must be selected within 15 minutes of quoting. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Sellers must use accurate measurements and the label for that order. Contact support before shipping if details are wrong or a label fails. Carrier adjustments and unused-label refunds require review; the platform does not automatically charge a buyer or seller extra after checkout. An unused label refund is subject to carrier approval.
A tracking number or shipping label alone does not establish delivery. If delivery cannot be verified, payment remains on hold for review. Payment release and arrival in a seller’s bank account are separate steps. Delayed transfers are not an escrow service.
5. Problems and disputes
Buyers should report missing, incorrect, damaged or suspected counterfeit hats from the order screen before accepting the item. An open dispute pauses unreleased seller payment for review. Statutory rights and payment-provider dispute rights are not removed by buyer acceptance or the review deadline.
6. Catalog information and photographs
The historical archive is incomplete. Missing dates and uncertain records are identified rather than presented as verified releases. Catalog imagery identifies models and does not prove a seller’s ownership or a listed hat’s condition. Goorin Bros. names and catalog imagery belong to their respective owners.
